TERMS & CONDITIONS
The Royal City Brewing Royalty Program is a rewards initiative designed to enable members to earn points for every purchase made at Royal City Brewing in-store or The Beer Hall. These points can be redeemed for merchandise, accessories, glassware, apparel, and more at our brewery retail store. As per provincial liquor laws, points cannot be used to purchase alcoholic beverages or beer, deposits, or gift cards. For a complete list of exclusions, please refer below. Points are non-transferable and do not possess any monetary value. When placing an order, points will be applied as a discount code, and only one discount code can be used per order.
MEMBERSHIP
To participate, you must be a Canadian resident and at least 19 years old. Only one account per individual is permitted, and multiple accounts using different email addresses are not allowed. We may request proof of identity for membership validation. The program is exclusively available to individuals and is not open to corporations, businesses, charities, partnerships, enterprises, or any other entities. The methods of participation in the program may be subject to change. Membership is free, and creating a Royalty Program account does not require any purchase.
To earn Royalty Program points, members must provide their email address or phone number in-store and log in using their email address and password for online purchases. Points will not be awarded for previous purchases if the email address or phone number was not provided in-store or if the account was not logged in before completing the purchase.
Royalty Program points, offers, and promotions are provided by us and may be extended to all program members or specific groups of program members, as determined by Royal City Brewing. Any offer or promotion is time-limited and may have additional terms and conditions, which will apply in addition to these Terms and Conditions. Each offer is valid only once, unless expressly stated otherwise in the offer terms. We reserve the right to limit the products or quantities on which a member can earn Royalty Program points. If a member earns points in a manner that violates these Terms and Conditions or any offer, we may, at our discretion, consider such points invalid and cancel them, resulting in their removal from the member's account.
By joining the Royalty Program, members consent to receive periodic updates regarding their account via email.
EARNING POINTS
There are several ways to earn Royalty Program points, as explained below:
New members receive 1,000 points upon joining the program.
For purchases made at our Beer Hall and Retail Store: Royalty Program members earn 50 points for every $1 spent in-store. Occasionally, the program may offer bonus point promotions, enabling members to earn points at a higher reward level.
In the event of any restrictions, suspensions, or modifications to these Terms and Conditions or any aspect of the program, we will provide advance notice by posting the revised Terms and Conditions on our website. Your continued participation in the program following such notice will indicate your consent to any amendments to these Terms and Conditions or any other aspect of the program.
ROYALITY PROGRAM: POINT REDEMPTION
The Royalty Program provides you with the opportunity to utilize the points you have accumulated through your membership to make payments for eligible in-store purchases. By accessing your account balance, you can utilize your Royalty Program points as either a full or partial payment at the point of sale. Please note that there may be minimum redemption requirements, and these conditions are subject to potential changes without prior notice.
We would like to bring to your attention that if you redeem your Royalty Program rewards coupon for an item of lesser value than the coupon amount, the remaining value will be forfeited and cannot be carried over for future transactions.
From time to time, we introduce exclusive redemption promotions for our Royalty Program members. These promotions may include enhanced point values or reduced minimum redemption thresholds for specific products or services. Additional terms and conditions may apply to such promotions.
Your Royalty Program points will remain valid as long as your Royalty Program account remains active. However, please note that we reserve the right to close any inactive account without notice if it remains inactive for a period of at least 2 years.
GENERAL
By participating in the program, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically, and it is advisable to regularly check http://royalcitybrew.ca for any revisions.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, including your password and security questions.
We reserve the right to terminate the program or any part of it by providing a written notice of 30 days in advance (to be communicated at Participating Stores, on our websites, or through other communications to program members, including email). If the program is terminated, you will have a grace period of 30 days after the effective termination date to redeem any Royalty Program points in your account. After the expiry of this 30-day period, any unredeemed points will be forfeited.
We retain the right to sell or transfer the program, wholly or partially, to a related company or third party, merge with another entity, or engage in any form of corporate reorganization or financing transaction. Moreover, the provision of the program to you and the offers provided by participating organizations may undergo changes.
If any of the information you provided during program registration, such as your name, birth date, email address, or phone number, changes, it is your responsibility to notify us promptly with your updated information. We cannot be held liable if we are unable to contact you due to outdated or inaccurate information.
We reserve the right to refuse membership to any individual at our sole discretion, including those who fail to meet the eligibility requirements or have had their membership previously canceled. We may suspend or cancel participation in the program at any time if we believe a member has abused program privileges, violated these Terms and Conditions, or provided false information to us or any affiliated entity. In the event of program cancellation, all accrued Royalty Program points in the account may be forfeited and removed.
By participating in the program, members agree to release and discharge Royal City Brewing Inc., as well as their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns, from any loss, liability, claim, demand, damage, or expense asserted by any person or entity relating to the program, their participation, or the redemption and use of any items obtained through Royalty Program points or otherwise in connection with the program, to the extent permitted by law.
We reserve the right to withdraw, temporarily modify, or suspend all or part of the program in the event of a material error, omission, technical issue, computer virus or bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, or any other cause beyond our reasonable control that disrupts the proper functioning of any aspect of the program as outlined in these Terms and Conditions. Any deliberate attempt to damage a website or undermine the legitimate operation of the program, as determined at our sole discretion, may constitute a violation of criminal or civil laws. In such cases, we reserve the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Our failure to exercise any of our rights, powers, or remedies in these Terms and Conditions or under applicable law, or any delay in doing so, shall not be deemed as a waiver of such rights, powers, or remedies. The exercise of a right, power, or remedy, whether partially or in a singular instance, does not preclude its subsequent exercise or the exercise of any other right, power, or remedy.
The use of singular or plural forms in these Terms and Conditions shall be interchangeable as context requires. The term "including" signifies inclusion without limitation. Any reference to dollar amounts in connection with the program or these Terms and Conditions denotes Canadian dollars.
Each provision within these Terms and Conditions is distinct and severable, and a declaration of invalidity or unenforceability of any provision or part thereof by a court of competent jurisdiction shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision within these Terms and Conditions.
