FAQ

Q: During the Covid-19 Pandemic, am I still able to purchase product?
A. Absolutely! We have plenty of options to ensure your fridge stays fully stocked including pick up in the bottle shop and delivery across Ontario. You can visit us in the bottle shop to pick up beer to go on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 12-8, Thursday- Saturday 11am-8pm, Sunday 12-6pm.

Q. What precautions are you taking during the COVID-19 Pandemic?
A. When visiting The Ward Room & Bottle Shop we ask that you keep 6 feet between all other patrons and staff and have a mask that completely covers your nose and mouth. If need be, we do have masks available for purchase on site. We are not currently accepting cash payments, only debit and credit preferably with tap function. We request that you do not touch items within the bottle shop, our staff will be happy to assemble your order for you. For fast, easy, contactless pickup, please use our local pickup option on our online check out when you get to the shipping choices. We will contact you when you package is ready for pickup (usually within a few hours). When you arrive to pick up your order, please have your ID and order number ready.

Q. Are you currently delivering beer?
A. Yes. We are currently delivering across the province! For all home deliveries, a person with a valid 19+ ID must be on site to receive the package and sign for the delivery. 
Guelph: Free same day Monday-Saturday. Place your order by 3PM to ensure you receive your order that day.
KW/Cambridge: Free delivery every Thursday. Use code FREESHIPKW and place your order by Wednesday at noon to receive your order Thursday.

Q. Do you have gift cards available for your online and retails store?
A. Yes! We have gift cards available for purchase online that can be sent as a virtual gift. These are only redeemable on our online store. If you would like a physical gift card for use in-store, it can be purchased at the brewery bottle shop.

    Q: I'm thinking of dropping in to the brewery for the first time- what can I expect?
    A. PLEASE NOTE: We are not currently allowing patrons to enter The Ward Room for draft sales. To-go purchases only. 

    Q. Can I visit The Ward Room for a pint?

    Q. Do you have a patio?
    A. We do not have a patio, however we do have a few annual events that take place in our parking lot throughout the year. Stay tuned to our social media for updates on upcoming events.

    Q: How do growlers work? 
    A: During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not currently selling growlers. However, once we decide it is safe to do so, this is how our growler system works: The glassware itself is a $4.00 purchase for 1L and $5.00 purchase for 2L. The beer is an additional cost depending on the brand you choose. We recommend you drink the growler soon after purchase as fresh is always best- however, they will last up to three weeks if stored upright and chilled. Once finished, bring back your empty growler and trade it in for a full one for just the cost of the beer. 

    Q: Where can I find your beer?
    A: Some of our core brands are available all year round at select LCBO, Grocery and Beer Store locations. We are also on tap at various bars and restaurants across Ontario. 

    Q: Is your beer gluten free?
    A: Due to the nature of brewing and the ingredients used in most of our product as well as the size of our facility, we are unable to produce gluten free beer at this time.

    Q: Do you serve food at the brewery?
    A: We do not serve food regularly at our facility, however we do have food trucks and caterers in often (keep posted to our instagram for updates) and we also encourage you to bring food from home or get delivery from one of our lovely local restaurants!   

    Q: I'm interested in purchasing a keg for my at-home keg fridge/for a party I'm hosting.
    A: We definitely have what you're looking for! Take a look here for all our available brews including 30L kegs. Be sure to add the Keg Deposit to your cart as well, which will be returned to you once the keg is brought back to us. If you have any questions about 20L or 50L kegs, please email us at info@royalcitybrew.ca for all inquires. Please note we do not supply tap handles or couplers.
