For almost 130 years, the Guelph Humane Society has been dedicated to protecting the many animals with whom we share our community. Each year over 3,000 vulnerable animals come through their doors in need of care and compassion. The Guelph Humane Society is a registered charitable, non-profit organization that does not receive government funding. As such, they depend on donations and private funding to support their vision and goals. They envision a sustainable population of healthy animals supported by a community that cares. Their mission is to promote the welfare of all animals and prevent cruelty and suffering. To achieve these goals they provide animal sheltering, surrender, and adoption services, veterinary care, pet identification, a progressive spay/neuter program, and lost pet returns. They also provide care and assistance with sick, orphaned and injured wildlife across the city.
2021 marks our 3rd year collaborating with the Guelph Humane Society in support of their work to help critters in our community! 50 cents from every can of this collaborative brew will be donated to assist in all the services they provide for animals in Guelph as well as their new location! They are still 1 million dollars short of their 10 million dollar goal!
This collaborative brew pours a hazy light golden colour with an off-white head. With bright aromas of red currants, fresh cut grass, and lemon. On the palate, this beer is straightforward and thirst-quenching... perfect for a hot summer day! Berries and citrus play off a delicate malt character and a good dose of bitterness makes the beer pup! Uh, we mean, pop!
