Aromas of grapefruit, pine, lemon, pineapple, and mixed berry jam come up out of the foam. The flavour matches the nose, with resinous piney notes, giving way to grapefruit and a hint of berries. The malt backbone props up the hops character without getting in the way. This is a well rounded, old school pale ale with a nice hit of bitterness.
